Martin Ibarra – Profile

Ibarra’s additional roles include President Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) and the Colombo-­‐Chinese Commerce and Investment Chamber as well as Vice President of the Association of American Chambers of Commerce (AACCLA). In addition to this role, Ibarra acts as an Advisor to the World Bank for several governments across the world, as well as the International Trade Center of Geneva for the design and promotion of investments and duty-­‐free zones in countries such as Asia, Africa and Latin America. He also took part of the World Bank Mission that created the special economic zones in China in 1983. Ibarra has received recognition and high praise for his work as one of the top lawyers in international trade law across Colombia and Latin America from several industry publications such as Chambers & Partners, Legal 500 and Best Lawyers International.
